Direct Messages (DMs) are end-to-end encrypted using client-side cryptographic libraries. This means the content of your private conversations is encrypted on your device before transmission, and we cannot read or access the plaintext content of your DMs.

  Device Information: We collect push notification tokens, device type, and operating system version to deliver push notifications and ensure compatibility.

• Verify your student status and college affiliation during registration.

• Enable user-to-user communications in communities and direct messages.

• Enforce our Terms of Service, investigate reports, and protect against harassment, fraud, and unsafe behavior.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

6. Data Retention & Deletion

• •Messages you sent in community chats may be retained in anonymized form for the integrity of ongoing conversations.

These include encrypted password storage (Bcrypt), end-to-end encryption for direct messages (TweetNaCl), rate limiting, content security policies (CSP), and strict access controls. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to promptly addressing any breach in accordance with applicable law.
